Emily Mine

There is allot to look at here.  Not many places allow you to look at artifacts above and below ground.  The entrance to the mine was very muddy in some places.  The mill site above ground had been picked clean but the structures were still there.

 

 
Keep Out! After about 250 ft of mud. We got to the blast store room, It was empty. Elliot and others inspecting collapsed ladder.

Man these always weird me out. I also hate people leaving sticks of dynamite around. The blood room was very weird.  Possibly rust in the ground?
At the top of the ladder where round timbers used to hold up the back fill. Just past the timbers was the "Bridge of Death" If you fell of the bridge, you would fall over 50 feet to the blood room.
Here is where the timbering got weird. Time to cut this tour short. Here is the mill at the bottom of the hill
