 Greggs Custom Flush Mount Turn Signal Install

I searched all over for different turn signal options for my 2005 SV650S. After a few weeks on the internet I found Greggs Customs Turn Signals, the only problem was they were advertised for 2003-2004 SV's

After a quick email to Gregg, he assured me that they would fit my 2005. I ordered a pair in the polished finish and these are the steps I took to install my set.  Start to finish, it was about 45 minutes.  If you are comfortable with tools and can set a VCR, you can do this install.

BEFORE PHOTOS:

STEP 1: Select Lovely Assistant.  This can be the same one used for previous installs.

STEP 2: Have Assistant Retrieve you a cold beverage

STEP 3: Remove and Expose Wiring.  Do this by removing the small triangle trim panels on the dash board. Also unplug the turn signal wire.

STEP 4: Remove the 10MM nut that holds on the Turn Signal.

STEP 5: Once you remove the signal.  Test the wiring and splice the old wiring harness wires to the new Greggs Custom signal.

STEP 6: Mount Signal, Plug in Harness and Close the Trim Panel

STEP 7: Take a test ride!
